If you’ve ever wanted to know more about L.A.’s past and present, its built and natural environments, its political and artistic life, its celebrations and its tragedies, then this month long program is for you.
HIGHLIGHTS:
- Field trips to architectural, historical, and cultural sites
- Guest speakers experienced in politics, journalism, business, and the arts
- Readings from the best of L.A.’s writers and thinkers
- Discussion and debate with fellow students
- Deep dives into the histories of Boyle Heights and other selected L.A. neighborhoods
